if you think, for some stupid reason, that the newer satellites are in
some way not reading temperature properly, then you are wrong and don't
understand metrology. Metrology
is based on sound physics and temperature is one of the most easily
calibrated values in practice. Oh, if you think that measurement in
Fahrenheit is any way to measure temperature meaningfully, then you are
living a long way in the past! The news is bleak. There is no chance that the world is going to make it to the Paris Agreement goals. Until the Trump administraion, the USA was managing to hold its CO2
levels steady at 2012 levels. However, EPA disinterest in new emission
standards for vehicles and for power generation has blown this apart.
With the rapid increase in output by China, this means that the world
is increasing emissions at a terrifying rate.
